      He was a Freeholder in 1743. 1750 a Road Commissioner
      Kinderhook. 1767 lvg in Ghent on road to Klyne Kill.
      His will written 11 Oct 1769; proved 1 Aug 1787
      In his will he gave his son Francis "the sum of 28 shillings
      in lieeu stead and bar of all right and claim he can make on
      my estate real or personal by right of primogeniture as being
      my eldest son."

      Barent was a Freeholder in 1743. In 1750 he was a Road Commissioner
      for Kinderhook. In 1767 he was living in the Town of Ghent, on the road
      called Klyne Kill.
