      MILITARY: The AGBI (American Genealogical Biographical Index, vol 116, p 169) records Abraham Mendenhall having served in the War of 1812. Jason Mendenhall performed a lookup on this resource and indicates Abraham is listed as being one who was fined for not showing up.

      OCCUPATION: Abraham was a cloth dresser and owned a fulling mill at New Castle, Delaware (The Mendenhalls)
