We are really enjoying our "Golden Years" so far.
We were called to the Dallas, Texas, Mission in July 1984 and served a year. We spend each Wednesday in the Jordan River Temple doing a Sealing Session and two Endowments and we enjoy it very much.
Our family of six children and 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren all live close to us and we enjoy the time we can spend with them.
We love to co camping and hiking with our family and friends and we have also gone on two Temple Tours and a tour, last December, to the Rose Bowl Parade.
We are members of a dance club in Salt Lake called the "Friendly Club" where we go nearly every Friday night. We have many dear friends there.
I've always wanted to take a ceramic class and, finally, last year took the time with the Riverton Senior Citizens. It has been fun.
I'm an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and also spend 7 or 8 hours a week at Bluffdale Stake House doing German Extractions.
The "Golden Years" have been busy and very fulfilling. We have been able to do things we couldn't find time or money to do when we were younger.
We have a few health problems, but it hasn't stopped us yet, just slowed us down.
