Born Feb 14, 1898, American Fork, to John Hone and Alice Ellen Elsmore Lee. Married to Samuel G. Bate, Aug 8, 1918, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day SAints. He died April 7, 1960, Sales Clerk, F. W. Woolworth Co. Survivors: son, Earl, Mrs. Joseph L. (Elaine) Nordberg, both of Palmdale, Calif; brother, Delbert John, Oakland, Calif; adopted brother Dr. B. D. Bennion, Salt Lake City, sister, Mrs. Hazel H. Shoell, American Fork; four grandchildren.
