Mendenhall Family Cemetery, Dayton, Franklin, Idaho, USA
The Mendenhall Family Cemetery is located on a small hill on private land between Dayton and Preston, Idaho, on the south side of Highway 36 between the homes labeled as 2456 W. & 2876 W. - GPS Location: N042.05'46.4" W111.56'19.0" - The cemetery is a "traditional" pioneer cemetery in that it is in a field, without grass, and among the weeds. There are 15 burials, with 16 markers (one marker is for Elmer Mecham Mendenhall who died serving in World War I and was buried in France). The fence around the cemetery was constructed by LeRoy Mendenhall Perkins and his son.
